The Dazor Magnifying Lamp

Dazor Circline magnifier lamps are one of the most popular magnifiers on the market today. These lamps are used by artists, architects, professional jewelers, and those in the quality control industry. The circline fluorescent light which is located under the magnifying lens provides light without any shadows for either detailed work or reading small print. The circular light gives uniform illumination over the viewing surface to provide enhanced color contrast without shadows. The lens is 5 inches in diameter and made of precision ground, crown optical glass giving no light refraction and dispersion. The lamp can use a 3 or 5 diopter lens. The magnifier is mounted onto Dazor's "Floating-arm" which enables both the light and the lens to be positioned easily. The lamp is made of solid steel and is designed to provide service for years to come.

The Specialty Circline Magnifier Electrology Model is especially designed for use in the electrology industry. Electrology technicians need magnifying lamps that can withstand the constant wide range of rigorous motions which are part of the normal day-to-day routine of electrology technicians. This is the only magnifier that can withstand that demand.

The connection that is between the magnifier head and the arm has been strategically placed on top to provide maximum range of motion. Other magnifiers have this connection located on the back of the head which restricts the range of motion.

The lamp has a powder coat finish that will protect it from constant wipe downs, as well as scratches and abrasions. There is now a protective shield that is included with the lamp which prevents instruments from breaking or touching the bulb. This protects the client's face and eyes, as well as reduces glare.

The Stretch View Magnifiers are rectangular shaped, and stretch the typical viewing area an additional 5 inches to 6.75" x 4.25". The extra wide viewing area allows the use of both eyes, reducing eyestrain while providing a more comfortable viewing area. The enlarged viewing area also increases visual scanning speed. The magnifiers also use an 18W compact fluorescent light, which produces 130 footcandles to further enhance viewing when held at 15" above the work area. The light source is located behind the lens to allow either shadow free illumination, or to provide a hi-lighting effect.

The Dazor Magnifier Flex line is the perfect combination of quality and price. The Flex Magnifiers have lenses that are made of high quality glass. The magnifier uses the standard 3-diopter, 5 inch lens which produces a sharp image within a wider viewing area, and gives a magnification range of 75% from a 13 inch focal length. The units also have metal flexible arms that reach to 30 inches, and adjust easily while holding their position. They are perfect for individuals with impaired vision who require assistance reading, sewing or making crafts.

The LED handheld magnifiers use 24 high powered LEDs, which are powered by 3 AA batteries. The optical grade glass lens is 2" in diameter, and magnifies up to 2.5X without distorting the viewing area. There is an instant on, flicker free bulb that has a life of about 50,000 hours. A carrying case is also included with the magnifier.

The larger handheld magnifier is illuminated by an 18W TS circline fluorescent full spectrum bulb. The 3.5" 5-diopter lens uses optical grade glass that does not distort the viewing area. This magnifier also features an instant on, flicker free bulb that has a life of about 8,000 hours. There is also a UV bulb that is available in 110V or 220V.
